The third grading period ends for us next Friday – March 11th.  You have one more large essay assignment for this grading period.  You may also turn in any missing work from this grading period for partial credit. Any late work must be turned in by the end of the school day on Thursday – March 10 to receive any credit.

There are two remaining opportunities for extra credit for this grading period:

Unit 3 words – the word or concept that was assigned to you when we began this unit (Everyone was give a specific topic and told it would be extra credit at the end of the unit). If you do not remember your topic (word or concept) then you can not turn anything in for possible extra credit.  Only two students were absent when I assigned the words (and I have given them their words) so you may not ask me for your topic again. This was an opportunity built into the unit for you to listen, follow directions, and earn extra credit. If you didn’t do that, it is okay, you just can’t earn any extra credit for it.  To receive your extra credit you must submit the information on your topic through the Canvas assignment (Third Grading Period Extra Credit) by the end of the school day on Thursday March 10th. You have the possibility of earning  up to 45 points for this extra credit assignment.

Dress up on movie day – If you dress in 1920’s school appropriate appeal for the in-school movie field trip on Tues. March 8th you can earn up to 15 extra credit points.
