Last week we got off to a great start with a Habits of Mind Walkabout, a mini-lesson on a few word crimes we need to avoid in our writing, and Thinking about our Thinking with Metaphors. This week we really dig into the Habits of Mind that it takes to successfully complete our mission of literacy and prepare for our first vocabulary test.  Before we get started make sure you review the weekly lesson plans so that you know what will be happening in class all week.
